What are the differences between iPhone 12 and iPhone 13?

Apple is renowned for its hardware and software innovation, with the iPhone being one of the most iconic products in tech history. Every year there is a new version of the device released, offering consumers an array of technological advancements and features. For anyone considering purchasing a new iPhone, it’s important to understand the differences between iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 so that you can make an informed buying decision. Whether you are looking for improved battery life, larger display size, or better camera capabilities, this article will provide an in-depth comparison between the two models.

Design & Display

When it comes to design, there are not many changes between the two devices. The overall look of the blueprints remain largely similar with a few minor updates such as flat edges on the sides of the phone for better grip and fewer antenna lines at the back. However, what is changing is their display size since Apple decided to introduce a smaller 6.1” model (iPhone 12) compared to a larger 6.7” model (iPhone 13). This allows users to have more screen real estate when scrolling through their apps or viewing media content such as movies or TV shows.

The other major difference lies in their displays where both iPhones feature OLED screens but with different refresh rates – 120Hz for iPhone 13 versus 60Hz for iPhone 12. This means that animations on iPhone 13 will appear smoother than on its predecessor which makes multitasking easier and provides a more immersive gaming experience. Additionally, all models come with Apple’s signature Super Retina XDR technology that offers stunning picture quality and true-to-life colors with excellent brightness levels and HDR10+ support as well as Dolby Vision content playback.

Performance & Battery Life

In terms of performance both iPhones are powered by Apples A14 bionic chip which offers blazing fast speeds while handling multiple tasks simultaneously without experiencing any lags or stutters during usage - however, due to its larger size and higher refresh rate display - The iPhone 13 has superior performance compared to its predecessor which only makes sense since it has more power hungry components running under its hood.

On top of this Apple also increased the RAM capacity from 4GB in iPhone 12 to 6GB found in iPhone 13 making it better equipped for power intensive applications like video editing or playing graphics intensive games.

As far as battery life goes - there have been some improvements here too but only slightly as Apple claims that both phones can last up to 17 hours when used normally – however based on our testing we noticed that battery life was extended by about 10 minutes when using the same exact settings across both devices which is still quite impressive considering how much energy their large displays tend to consume throughout regular usage periods.

Camera & Storage

The camera department has seen some significant improvements with this generation's iPhones as well - featuring more advanced lenses along with improved image sensors allowing users to capture sharper images even in low light conditions while also providing support for 4K HDR video recording at 30/60 FPS which again puts them one step ahead of previous models when it comes down capturing moments!  Storage wise – Apple has kept things consistent across all models offering 64/128 / 256 GB options depending upon user preference thus giving consumers plenty of space for storing photos, videos etc…

Price & Conclusion

The main area where you may notice a difference between these models would be pricing where typically speaking new versions cost upwards from $50-$100 more than older ones due to added features like faster processors, better displays etc… So if budget isn't much of an issue then we'd suggest taking advantage of these newer generations' advantages instead! All things considered though - both phones offer great value for
